Dunblane to Sheriffiffmuir Starting in the Historic City of Dunblane this walk climbs onto the edge of the Ochils crossing the famous battlefield of Sheriffmuir. Muiravonside Country Park Walk around the park alongside the River Avon and the Union Canal and passing the Avon Aquaduct- the longest and tallest in Scotland Gartmorn Dam Walk around the heart of the Gartmorn Dam. The short walk is suitable for wheelchairs or Pushchairs. Darn Road and Glen Road, Bridge of Allen This follows the Allan Water between the former Spa Town of Bridge of Allen and the city of Dunblane. Back Walk and Gowan Hill, Stirling This is a relatively short walkaround the walls of the ancient Royal Burgh of Stirling. There are excellent views form the castle rock and Gowanhill. Menstrie to Tillicoutry A gentle walk along the lower slopes of the Ochil Hills that link three of the hill foot towns via back roads and the Ochil Hills Woodland Park. Bannockburn A walk from the most famous battlefield in scotland. Visit the National Trust for Scotland Heritage Centre for more information. Holyrood Park and Arthur`s Seat Tour the royal estate of Holyrood Park in the heart of Edinburgh and enjoy great views from Arthur`s Seat. Alva Glen A short but strenuous walk following a narrow winding glen typical of the Ochil Hills. Dollar Glen A short, steep, and strenuous walk around the dramatic deep gorge of the Dollar Glen.
