Fishing

There are a number of excellent places where you can enjoy fishing locally

The season for salmon and sea trout fishing is from February to October on the rivers Devon, Allen, and Forth. The Scottish brown trout season runs from 15th March to 6th October. Many rainbow trout fisheries are open all year round as there is no close season for coarse fishing.

You may also find good fishing opportunities at the Union Canal near Falkirk and South of Oban where Loch Awe and Loch Lomond are weell known for Pike and Perch.  We can offer excellent log cabin accommodation on the pictureque banks of Loch Awe. If you would like information please contact us.

With Trout fisheries on the outskirts of Stirling, Lake Mentieth and a string of lochs in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park as well as gardmorn dam in Alloa there is a good choice of areas to fish.
